Dark reddish purple color. Aromas of black currant, tobacco and leather. It shows berry fruit and spice notes. The mid palate gives way to flavors of raspberry, blackcurrant, mineral and toasty notes. It has a long finish with fine tannins and hints of mocha. This is a very elegant wine in style with good intensity and nice pleasant finish.
Opaque violet, almost black color typical of top quality Argentine Malbec. Intense aromas recalling ripe red berries, plums, blackcurrant, blackpepper with notes of candied fruit and marmalade. Subtle notes of chocolate, coffee and nuts are given by its long ageing in new French oak. Silky palate and soft rounded tannins with notes of blackberries, spices, truffles providing aromatic complexity for an exquisite finish.
This wine has a high layer of bright cherry red color and violet tones. On the nose we fnd aromas of cherries, blackberries, currants and hints of licorice joining perfectly with roasted and vanilla wood aromas. On the palate it is a very nice combination, with a soft start of sweet tannins, then while in the palate it increases the sense of volume leaving a lingering and creamy finish.

The Old Vines Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in barrel with some minimal lees stirring to create richness and complexity. None of the press wine was used, only free run juice so as to preserve the delicacy and brightness of the fruit. No malolactic fermentation was allowed to preserve the crisp acidity.
