There is a lot to admire in this ripe, rich, opulent varietal, a delicious red with hints of blackberry, black bing cherry, black plum, fig and tobacco on the finish. Slight tannin to the mouth with a velvety smooth, soft finish. Pairs great any Italian red sauces, steak, prime rib, and veggie and lasagna.
