This Estate Biodynamic Petite Sirah is lush and full, with flavors of butterscotch, caramel and sweet cherry. Elegant and powerful, this wine is smooth and drinkable now, but will cellar well until around 2015. Enjoy its spicy character with grilled mushrooms, thick marinara sauces and rich chocolate or creamy desserts.
The 2009 Merlot has a perfect balance of blackberry, chocolate, leather flavors and mild tannins developed from a long summer ripening season and a full extraction during fermentation.
The 2014 Coates Cabernet Sauvignon is a very complex, rich, smooth, silky, and balanced wine after only 2 years of oak barrel aging. Layers of black cherry and anise flavors are complemented by the vineyards organic, earthy tones.
We grow two different distinct strains of the Syrah grape, the resultant blending of which offers a deep, complex wine redolent of violets and dark berries.

The Old Vines Sauvignon Blanc was fermented in barrel with some minimal lees stirring to create richness and complexity. None of the press wine was used, only free run juice so as to preserve the delicacy and brightness of the fruit. No malolactic fermentation was allowed to preserve the crisp acidity.
Two distinct selections grow on a steep hillside; Clone 1, originally from Chateau d’Yquem, provides structure and backbone and is balanced by the aromatics of the Musqué clone. Both are dry-farmed producing canopies of low-vigor and very small yields. The resulting wine is rich and complex.
The nose is very expressive with floral notes of Jasmine and Orange Blossom. It also shows a spicy Lemon Lime Zest.
At 2.4 percent residual sugar and 12.7% alcohol, this Riesling has just enough sweetness to balance its fresh acidity. Silky smooth on the palate with tons of tropical fruit. The richness of mango, pineapple and guava lead to a crisp, refreshing finish.
