Growing up with an Indian background in Southern California, I’d often hear tales from my family of the wonders of ancient Ayurvedic medicine and wisdom that had been passed down in our culture from generation to generation. It would slightly peak the interest, after all, since Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga. But it wasn’t until I had sustained a major compound fracture foot injury, which led me to becoming dependent on prescription painkillers, that forced me to turn towards Ayurveda. After about two months, I truly felt its healing powers through the use of food, plants, nature, and mindfulness. TURVEDA is brand born with a soul that is a hybrid of Modern day (Today) and Ayurveda (ancient Indian system of natural healing). “Ayur" means “life" in sanskrit and "Veda” means knowledge or “science” thus fully translating into the “Science of Life”.
